The Rocky Top Community Foundation is a 501C3 organization with the purpose of  relieving the poor and distressed citizens of the City of Rocky Top and adjacent unincorporated communities and combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.

The Foundation was created in 2019 by the Rocky Top Chamber of Commerce because, while the chamber is organized to be an advocate for business, it recognized that the community needed improvements in order to be a conducive environment for successful businesses.

The Foundation is currently in the development stages that involves researching ways to improve the community’s issues of homelessness, drug abuse and deterioration.  The board is looking at what other communities are doing to formulate plans for Rocky Top. The Foundation is also seeking funds through grants and private donations to implement plans and implement strategies.
